Slavery in Brazil

Brazil was the last country to abolish slavery in 1888. Throughout the time of slavery, the slave trade caused many Africans to get shipped to all around the world including Brazil. This was due to the result of needing more miners and more people on plantation. This caused many Africans to die of hunger, hydration, or torture if any slaves attempted to fight back or escape.
